Adam Kovacs is the President of Kovacs Motors Inc. Adam was born in Hungary. His father raced rally cars professionally and Adam was born into the industry. His father moved his family when Adam was 3 to Germany where they continued to race. Adam grew up around cars helping his father with his racecars. His informal training from his father continued until he was 15 when Adam decided that he wanted to make a career out of it. He started formal schooling in the auto industry and after three and a half years got his first job fixing Audis at a dealership in Germany.

He worked there for three years gaining the experience he needed to undertake the next step in his career. He enrolled with a German university and continued his formal education and eventually received his Meisterbrief in mechanical engineering. The Meisterbrief is the German equivalent of a Master degree. Armed with this he spent one more year with the Audi dealership and then he moved his wife, two kids, and himself to the beautiful Sonoma Valley in California. In Marin County he got a job working for a large bay area Volkswagen and Audi dealership where he quickly advanced to one of the highest-level technicians in the shop. While working there he received much training from the Audi and Volkswagen factory-training program.

Because of this, Adam decided to open his own repair shop where customers could go to avoid the problems that are inherent with running a dealership.

Adam then took the next step and obtained his certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) for the repair skills that he has gathered from his training.

Leasing a small shop on E Francisco Blvd in San Rafael Adam opened shop in 2003. Armed with all the factory training, factory tools, and using only factory parts Kovacs Motors Inc. is committed to providing every single customer they have with a level of service that is unmatched. They are able to provide the same level of expertise the dealership can but without the roadblocks that encumber them from providing personalized service to every customer.
