Join other Audi drivers on April 28th on a scenic drive to Yosemite National Park. We plan to meet in Manteca at Starbucks, enjoy a cup of coffee while checking out all the various Audi’s in the parking lot, then drive to the park. Once there, we’ll have a potluck picnic, take pictures, and do a few short hikes to park locations of your choice. The cost is $20 per person. In addition, each driver should plan to bring your National Park Pass or $20 for admission to the park
Participants should sign up at registration to bring a food item that can be shared with others. The club will provide eating utensils, napkins, plates, cups, table cloths, water and soft drinks. Each participant will also receive a nice picnic blanket they can use during the day.
Yosemite is one of the most magnificent national parks in the country, with its spectacular scenery, impressive views, and interesting wildlife. Come join us on this fun social drive where we can drive, eat, and get a bit of inspiring exercise. For those of you who choose to stay overnight at or near the park, lodging information can be obtained at http://www.nationalparkreservations.com/yosemite.php
You can register for the event online at Motorsportreg.com.

This a great opportunity for the teen drivers in your family (or your friends or neighbors) who have valid permit or drivers license to have a great time in their own car, gaining skills that will assist them for a lifetime. We know it's not easy to convince a teenager to do anything, but we've seen many morning frowns get turned completely upside down by the time lunch rolls around. The event will be held at Solano Community College in Fairfield CA, midway between Sacramento and the Bay Area right off Interstate 80. It generally runs from 8:30am to around 4:30pm with breakfast snacks and lunch included. Registration for the event will be available online beginning March 2nd. Go here Registration on Motorsportreg.comIf you prefer to pay by check, and please download the following registration form and complete it and send it to Janine Queller at 6 Tesla Circle, Carson City, NV 89706. Please make the check payable to Audi Club Golden Gate. 2012 Teen Driving Clinic Registration FormIf you should have any questions concerning this event, the Event master is Janine Queller (Janine@audiclubgoldengate.org) and the co-event master is Joe Lucchio (joe@audiclubgoldengate.org) |
